LINK Ghana in northern Ghana a local-based Ghanaian NGO, was established in 2005 and incorporated in 2017 after nearly twelve years as a leading voluntary development organization. It is a Ghanaian rural development NGO in northern Ghana and has implemented projects in several districts in the five northern regions and the Bono and Bono East regions; formerly part of the Brong Ahafo region.
LINK Ghana’s development experience and expertise are in the areas of sustainable household food and livelihood security, inclusive agricultural value chains, social and economic research and advocacy and behavioral change communication. Our interest over the years has also been on youth and entrepreneurship development through the business incubation approach, climate change adaption and mitigation with a focus on women, children, youth and persons with disability.
In it’s more than 10 years development work in northern Ghana, LINK Ghana has developed a strong and seamless working partnership with CSIR institutions in northern Ghana, Universities, Agricultural Training Colleges, community-based organizations, local and international NGOs, MMDAs and MDAs and the private sector. LINK Ghana has also worked with a wide range of donor partners – USAID-Strategic Impact Advisors, United Nations Development Adaptation Fund, UNDP Global Environmental Fund, Palladium International, LLC, USA Embassy in Ghana Ambassadorial Self Help Fund, French Embassy in Ghana Sankofa Fund, PEG Africa, and a range of Funding Agencies – World Vision International, LINK Aid.
LINK Ghana is a non-governmental organization on the mission to eradicate poverty by overcoming the injustice and inequity that cause it.
